Join Emily in a deep, meditative two hour practice consisting of breathwork, yin yoga and yoga nidra. We begin by increasing and deepening breath awareness to prepare us for the yin practice. Our yin postures will be specifically sequenced to promote deep release, relaxation and mindfulness. In yin yoga the postures are held longer to promote internal release in connective tissues, fascia, tendons and ligaments. Following this practice will be a 25 minute yoga nidra (aka “yogic sleep”) to increase the effectiveness of the yin practice and promote deeper relaxation.
